Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Orthomolecular Alternative to Meds Center

Mary is noiw finally going home from Alternative to Meds Center (ATMC) this Wednesday, Sept 16. It has been 2 months. She was sent there to help her get off of Zoloft. She had been taking Zoloft for 15 years and her health has gotten drastically worse over the years. She had tried to get off Zoloft for 5 years but had not been able to accomplish it on her own. ATMC was able to reduce her medication in about 3 weeks using orthomolecular medicine. They were able to determine that she was toxic to Lead and also that her intestinal tract was unhealthy due to many years of taking aspirin and antibiotics as a child. IV amino acid drips helped her to taper off Zoloft and repair her digestive system, and IV chelation treatment helped her to get the lead out of her system. The lead may have come from the lead pipes in our Grandparent's house we used to live in Vermont.

Mary tells us that she feels ever so much better now, like a new woman. Many long standing health issues that she previous had, have just gone away like her multiple chemical sensitivity. The progress she has made in such a short time in the short time she has been at ATMC is amazing. The doctor there told her that the aspirin had been toxic and antibiotics killed off her gut flora. I am just sad that it took so long for her to get the help that she was needing. It appears that zoloft was unnecessary, when in fact, her health issues should have been solved in a different way.

Mary’s social worker told me that she has demonstrated the most improvement of anyone who has gone through their program in the shortest time. Mary told me that even the founder of the program gets emotional when he talks about her progress. She arrived on a plane and rolled off in a wheel chair with a mask on, and was so very weak. It was nearly impossible for her to walk up to her bedroom on the third floor. She had never slept well and was always depressed. Now, she definitely more healthy, with glowing looking skin, radiant hair and shinning eyes. She is able to go on hikes and keep up with the other residents which she couldn't do in the beginning. She used to be unable to wear shoes because of the chemicals in the glue, and now, she wears shoes! She used to never leave the house, now she is no longer housebound. She has regained her love of art and is painting daily. She runs up and down the stairs with no problem now. She told us that life is now worth living. I just think it is so incredible. Marys only regret is that she wishes that her mother Mom see how she is now. I think she knows!
